Our Leadership
Lead Pastor & Elder, Zach and Brandi Van Buren
Pastor Zach serves as the Associate Pastor at Summit Springs Church. He and his wife Brandi have been in ministry together for over 15 years. Zach regularly teaches on Sundays, bringing a deep love for Scripture and spiritual formation. His teaching is biblical, Spirit-led, and practical—aimed at helping people experience God and live out their faith in everyday life. He also oversees our youth ministry.
Zach came to know Jesus as a freshman in high school, and early on was marked by a personal call to devotion, worship, prayer, and the Word. He began leading prayer meetings and Bible studies in high school and has been in ministry from that time on.
He holds a Master’s in Biblical Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, and in the years before joining the pastoral team at SSC, he helped lead a ministry school while teaching Bible and Theology classes.
Zach and Brandi have four children—Joshua, Mercy, Caleb, and Wyatt—who keep life full of joy, fun, and adventure. As a family, they love spending time together, playing board games, building forts, and outdoor fun.
Mike and Ann Collier
Mike serves as an elder at SSC and he and Ann oversee the hospitality ministries. They have two sons and their wives and five beautiful grandchildren. Mike has a master’s degree in business from Baker University. He and Ann assist the church in many areas of ministry and will be some of the first smiling faces you see when you enter the doors of Summit Springs.

Summit Springs Church is lead by a Council of Elders from our local church who provide accountability and assist the pastoral staff in all areas of church oversight. In Biblical church eldership, as described in I Timothy 3, elders are responsible for establishing doctrine and church policies and provide care for the church family.
