Ministry Teams
Joining one of our ministry teams gives you an opportunity to develop and put into action the gifting and talent God has given you. In working with a team, friendships are forged as we link up with others to meet the needs of the church family. Some of our ministry teams include Hospitality, Summit Kids, Prayer Team, and our Worship Team. At Summit Springs we host outreach ministries to our community throughout the year as well.
Life Groups
We encourage you to check out one of our Life Groups! At SSC, we desire to offer multiple opportunities for our church family to connect on a deeper level of friendship and discipleship experiencing life and growing together in Christ—and we welcome you to participate! We have three general adult groups, and a young adult (age 18-35) group. For more information see our event page, www.SummitSpringsChurch.com/event.
BIBLE STUDY AND FELLOWSHIP GROUPS
In addition to Life Groups, Bible study and fellowship groups provide a great opportunity to connect on a more personal level, develop friendships, an opportunity to pray together, and grow in your faith.
MEN’S MINISTRY -
Guys, you’re welcome to join these groups any time! Learning to live out Biblical principles in life is what our men's groups are all about. These men have great fellowship with one another and support one another in prayer.
- Zoom Bible Study - Tuesday and Thursday mornings is on a book from the Bible, studied verse by verse, 6:30-7:30 am, lead by Pastor Tom and Randy Jury. To get log in info, email us at [email protected].
- The Men’s Monday Evening Bible Study meets at 6:30 pm at the church.
- A Monthly Men’s Breakfast fellowship group meets the 1st Tuesday of the month at BIG BISCUIT, Blue Springs, 8 am.
WOMEN'S MINISTRY -
- Women’s Bible studies are offered at various times throughout the year. Our ladies have a great time studying the Word of God together, developing friendships and supporting one another in prayer and encouragement.
- Our Ladies' Praise and Prayer group meets at 1pm the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays to intercede for our families, church, and our nation.
- Moms Connecting is a monthly fellowship meeting the 2nd Tuesday of the month, 6:30 pm. Moms with kids of all ages are invited as we meet to bring support through every season and gain biblical wisdom regarding all things mom-life!
- Our Women's Ministry team plans wonderful special events throughout the year!
